Fun little activities!!

For family home evening we decided to carve pumpkins which i love to do!
We got our ideas of what to carve from other peoples blogs,
Brandon choose to carve our name and a really cool face!
Trick or Treat! Can you find the little mistake that was made???
Here is my mummy! I had a blast doing it!
We had an interesting experience this past week! On sunday night we got a message on our answering machine while we were visiting Grandpa and Grandma Wiser. It was a women "Linda" who was inviting us to a halloween party on Wednesday night. We knew that we knew her because our number is so new and she called the comstocks on the message. We checked our ward and stake directories and she was not on either so we figured she must be with CES. The next morning i called her back and left a message telling her we would love to come. When Brandon came home he told me that there was no "Linda" that worked at his office and that CES was not having a party on Wednesday. Confused, we decided to go along with her knowing that she did know us some how. I talked on the phone with "Linda" about six times, and after a while i realized that "Linda" didnt know who we were. Embarrassed, i made Brandon call her the day of the party to let her know she must have called the wrong comstock. (we knew that Mark Comstock (unrelated) was a high school teacher also who lived close to her as well) As Brandon talked to her we determined that she had called the wrong number and realized later that she had made a mistake! She told us that we were more that welcome to come, thinking it was a funny story we went and had such a great time! Come to find out the club she is in (toastmasters) is an international club that helps people become better public speakers. We met alot of great people and another couple who has a six month old boy that we are going to have play dates with so all together it was great!
This picture is from a few months ago but this is one of my favorite date nights i have had! Since we have to stay home for most of them because of Coleton Brandon thought this up. These were on sale for a dollar each so we got $10 worth (one of each flavor) and tried them all, it was so much fun and we had lots of leftovers! (well kind of... i can eat alot of ice cream)
