Its a....?

Well, today was our ultrasound!! We went in and they had a look at the baby! We were a bit nervous since we were really wanting another little boy but everyone voted that it would be a girl so we were a little anxious! I had always thought it would be a little boy, i had this feeling :) well when we went it they found a very healthy baby! It was right with my due date which i was a bit nervous for and we found out that it was a ......Girl!!!

I have to admit brandon and i were in shock we really were expecting a boys, we had the name picked out and everything but a girl will also be wonderful! We were just so happy to find out that she was develpping healthy and nothing looked out of the ordinary!

 My due date is still on for September 3, 2013 and with my history i hope to go a week or so early which will put me having the baby while Brandon is in his first week of school :) Not the best timing but it will have to due!! Baby girls Comstock on her way!!

Well, once again i am behind on blogging!! After the morning sickness came and went i never hopped back in and now i have a few months to catch up on! Along with the pregnancy setting me a little bit back, there other reason blogging never happen was because we got a new camera!! Yay! It is a Nikon D3100! We took a two day vacation to salt lake city to go to the new museum exhibit "mummies of the world" (which was awesome) while Brandons parents watched the kids and while we were their we decided it was time for us to invest in a new camera! We are so excited but since our current computer was having issues we were unable to down load the new program and retrieve our pictures so now that Brandon has his new computer we are  able to get the pictures downloaded!! I have a lot to learn about how to use all the special functions but i cant wait to have some higher quality pictures coming our way!!

Things a happening at the Comstocks house!!

Things have been happening at the Comstock house!! We have been organizing, DE-junking, and building things to make our house much more functional!! There are a lot of things that we have always wanted to do but have either had a lack of time while Brandon was in school, lack of finances, cause who has a lot sitting around, or lack of motivation! Well with Baby #4 coming soon we knew we needed more space and functional rooms. We started off in the kitchen, we got ride of our old take and got a table that is much more functional for us! It has a stainless steal top which makes cleaning up so much easier!

Brandon took our old table and made a lovely work bench that he is soooo excited for!!!

It holds his saw, tools and extra wood for random projects!

We also got a bench for our table to make it able to fit more kids!

Brandon made this decorative sign for our shelf, that was becoming a clutter spot, and i love it! (yes we know there are still no pictures we are in the process of fixing that!)

We took the boys closet and made built in shelves so that i would have more places to put the boys and baby's clothes! There are four bins across and four high which gives me a lot more space and then there is a small slot on the side for a large dirty clothes bin!!! Also on the top of the closet there are four bins which hold blankets, swimwear, and jackets!!

There are many more projects that we have not fully finished so pictures have not been taken but our master closet is getting a big renovation, and our front living room is getting new colors which will be fun to see when its all done!! Brandon went through all of his things from high school that we received from his parents and has gone though and sold a lot of things that he hasn't used like fishing gear, paintball guns, basketball cards, books, bookshelves and a lot more and with all of that money he was able to go and buy tools for his "shop" aka our garage so he is really excited to get tools! So that is a few of the projects we have been working on hopefully more to come!!!

Brooklyn's First Birthday!

Well, our little Brookie turned one! We made a cute little cake of pigs playing in the mud, it was fun to make! We had Brandons' family over for dinner and opened a few presents and called it a party! Brooklyn didn't quite know what to do with the cake but quickly figured it out and loved it!

We had her one year appointment the same day as her party because of my lack of planning but here are her one year stats!!

like always are children's head hits the tops of the charts! When the nurse put it in the computer she was convinced she measured it wrong but after my reassuring her she was correct and her doubting, she remeasured to see she was right after all!! She is a healthy one year old and doing great. She crawls but has no desire to walk, though she loves her walker, loved to eat, and eat, and loved to get as much attention as she can get!! Hayden adores her and both boys will stop what ever they are doing to help her! She is a talker and loves Brandon (i think she is a little irritated with me for being pregnant:) but when Brandon comes home she crawls as fast as those little legs will go and beg for him to holder, which we all love! We are waiting for her hair to grow but other then that we are loving having our little girl!!!

Valentines Day

This year for valentines day, Brandon went all out!! I woke up that morning to find this at the end of my bed(for those who may not know this is the gumball machine he proposed with :)

THere were 100 bubble cases hidden around the house for me to find! Each of them had a little slip of paper that had somoe of the things we have gone and done, experienced, or vacations we have taken the past five and a half years! It was fun to find each one and remember all of the fun things we have been though together!! I havent found all of them yet but i have lots of time to find them! On a, not as romatic note, i got brandon a new pair of running shoes which he was really wanting and made a huge homemade card and decorated his office! We got the boys a little box of chocolates and a balloon and they thought they were in heaven!! It was a great valentines day!

 

Haydens birthday!!!

Hayden has turned three!! How we love our little Hayden!! He was so excited to celebrate his birthday! We had Brandons family down and had dinner! We got Hayden a big kid booster seat which he was so excited for!! He wanted it to be just like Coletons' but sadly Costco didn't carry the exact on but we found one that was similar and he loved it!! Brandon parents got him super hero stuff which he was so excited for! He is a huge Captain America fan and they got him a mask and shield! He put them on as soon as he opened them and later this is how we found him...

 

He loves shields for some reason and we had a broken Knights shield that he has been playing with (calling it a captain America shield) so we were glad that he got one that is in better condition!! (its now a few days old and it looks pretty beat up because he takes it EVERYWHERE and i really mean EVERYWHERE!!) Hayden is our sweet little guy who cant help but make you melt!! He is the most accident prone kid i have ever seen but after falling will happily jump up exclaiming "I'm OK, I'm OK!!" We are working on potty training since the morning sickness put that on hold but he loves to play and be a little boy and we absolutely love him!!

Surprise!!

Well, though we were not expecting things to happen so fast, we are excited to announce baby #4 is on its way! We are due September 3, 2013!

Christmas Eve 2012

I love the holidays! This year for Christmas Eve we did our normal routine got the house clean, made our huge sandwich, ate it, opened presents, and got ready for bed but this year was a bit different then in past years..... We had friends over all day? I was actually a bit shocked but we had neighbor kids over from about ten that morning til about five when we told them it was our family time. The boys had a fun day though!!

The night was fun and the boys made it memorable so another Christmas Eve down!!

Ice Cream Sundaes!

The boys were once again thrilled to see a fun treat for one of our twelve days of Christmas! This one was an ice cream sundae treat kit!! They loved it!
