July 24th, Pioneer Day!

This year both Coleton and I were in the pioneer day parade! I rode Rose with Hanna and her family and Coleton rode on the wards float as a builder since this years theme is Builders of the Nation!

This picture of me is quite ridiculous but we were going so quick because the horse were excited that Brandon and his family didn't have a chance to get any more pictures :)

Fourth of July!

Like every year, we headed to the parade!

We had a great time and got lots of treats! Later that night, we went to a BBQ with the Bells, Humphries, Princes, and a few other families we didnt know but we had a great time! :) This year the fire works were canceled because of fire danger but hopefully for the 24th we will get some fireworks! Happy Fourth!

Whats are we are up too?

I figured we would just let everyone know what we were up to?? Brooklyn is now four months old so we took some pictures of her..

Hayden is our little dare devil. The other morning coleton came running in to our room yelling 'Mommy, Haydens in trouble come help!!" And this is how we found him! He had seen a cat climb up the rocks and he really wanted to play with it so he chased it! Well he never caught up with it but did get him self pretty high up! You would think that this little guy would be scared but no! When we came out he was standing up, peanut butter jar and spoon in his hand and not holding on to anything and said "i stuck"

He was higher then Brandon could reach so Brandon tried to climb up to get him down but Hayden continued to claim he didnt need help getting down so Hayden just climbed down like it was no big deal! He hardly seemed to care how very dangerous it was and has done it three times since then and we are very nervous! For him, he "just wanted to pet the kitty"
Here is Brooklyn in her bounce-a-roo toy that we got and she loves it though the boys actually love it more :)

In these pictures you can kind of see some hair growing! Yay! It still is pretty sparse but its coming along! Other then that we are doing pretty good right now! Brandon has offically signed up for the St. George Marathon so he has been training pretty hard and with the high temps here it has been quite the struggle! We are hitting 100s each day and there is not much shade though he is enjoying hiking in Zions National Park in the mornings. Coleton is quite the chatty kid lately. He loves to tell you about his day, and loves if you will sit and watch a show with him. He loves the super heros right now and constantly talks about all of his "friends" pretty much meaning anyone he plays with! For me i am just enjoying the last couple of months in the Young Womens presidency we have been told we are being released after youth conference next month since they have been in for over three years so i am just enjoying it while it last!
(Top left: Sheri landt, bailey Bearmann, Kayla Larsen, Kenzie Beardall, Maquel cox, Cameron Watts, Katie Levitt, Denise Parker, Tahya Jensen,  Talia Wilcock, Brooklyn and I) (Middle left: Liz dansie, Heather Rowley, Sara Jones, Krista Hess, Amy Ballard) (Bottom Left: Leann Parker, Sierra Rowley, Valeria Ashmore (laying down), Jennie Humphries, Aubrey Larsen, Madison Branch, Aspen Langston, Ashlyn Murphy, Julie Nelson).
I was able to spend a few days up at girls camp which is my favorite thing to do. I was able to go for two days of the four and i was able to bring brooklyn since she is nursing and not mobile yet! I was nervous to have her since she was not quite four months yet in a hot camp ground with alot of girls and noise to sleep in a tent. Though i was nervous she did amazing!!! She loved being around all of the girls and they passed her around all day. I took her when she needed to eat and sleep (she slept in the carrier) and was happy and cooing the WHOLE time and i really am not kidding she actually slept the whole night with out a peep as us leaders laughed and giggled till 2-3am! We really had a great time! I was able to find babysitters and the boys had a great time with Brandon while i was gone!
Brooklyn got the youngest camper award at camp (though there was a eleven week old in another camp) and the girls used her as there little mascot but i am really glad i had a chance to go! Other than that we are just making it day by day and loving it!

Memorial Day Weekend!

For Memorial day weekend we decided we needed to do something so we started making plans for an exciting weekend! Saturday morning we decided to go ride horses with one of Brandons old students (Hanna) and her dad!

We had a great time the boys loved it and we each got to ride on our own which was new for us (i even got to a gallop!)

Later that afternoon,  we headed to Cedar City to see Brandons parents. It would be the first time that we took Brooklyn over night at there house so i wondered how she would do. We headed there on Saturday evening, went to church with them on Sunday and then left Monday evening. We were able to go to Bradys grave and get some pictures with the boys

and were able to take Brandons dads sail boat out which the boys loved!!

Joleen even snapped some cute shots of Brooklyn!

It was a great weekend and we look forward to the rest of the summer!
