Haydens birthday!!!

Hayden has turned three!! How we love our little Hayden!! He was so excited to celebrate his birthday! We had Brandons family down and had dinner! We got Hayden a big kid booster seat which he was so excited for!! He wanted it to be just like Coletons' but sadly Costco didn't carry the exact on but we found one that was similar and he loved it!! Brandon parents got him super hero stuff which he was so excited for! He is a huge Captain America fan and they got him a mask and shield! He put them on as soon as he opened them and later this is how we found him...

 

He loves shields for some reason and we had a broken Knights shield that he has been playing with (calling it a captain America shield) so we were glad that he got one that is in better condition!! (its now a few days old and it looks pretty beat up because he takes it EVERYWHERE and i really mean EVERYWHERE!!) Hayden is our sweet little guy who cant help but make you melt!! He is the most accident prone kid i have ever seen but after falling will happily jump up exclaiming "I'm OK, I'm OK!!" We are working on potty training since the morning sickness put that on hold but he loves to play and be a little boy and we absolutely love him!!

Surprise!!

Well, though we were not expecting things to happen so fast, we are excited to announce baby #4 is on its way! We are due September 3, 2013!

Christmas Eve 2012

I love the holidays! This year for Christmas Eve we did our normal routine got the house clean, made our huge sandwich, ate it, opened presents, and got ready for bed but this year was a bit different then in past years..... We had friends over all day? I was actually a bit shocked but we had neighbor kids over from about ten that morning til about five when we told them it was our family time. The boys had a fun day though!!

The night was fun and the boys made it memorable so another Christmas Eve down!!

Ice Cream Sundaes!

The boys were once again thrilled to see a fun treat for one of our twelve days of Christmas! This one was an ice cream sundae treat kit!! They loved it!

Family Movie Night

This year for the 12 days of Christmas my parents do for us we got a cute movie night kit! The boys were so excited to have a special movie night, they got treats and got to stay up a little later then normal to watch the rescuers down under it was a big hit and we had a great time!

Welcome Heber!

I love our little elf, Heber! He has made the house sure exciting! The boys have been so excited to see where Heber is everyday and they cant help but laugh when they see him! Heber has been climbing the Christmas tree, in the pantry eating Grandma Cheney's cinnamon popcorn, hiding under the sink, getting trapped in the computer (Brandon had fun with that one :), He took a trip to Grandma Comstock's and was caught roasting marshmallow, Heber was found in the car buckled, riding Hayden's tricycle, reading a book in the rocking chair and hanging out with Santa :) its been fun to watch him travel everywhere. He is half way through his time with our family so we are excited to see where he will turn up :)

Carleens 26th Birthday!

This year for my birthday we took it pretty simple :) Brandon parents took the boys so i was able to take a wonderful nap and Brandon and i were able to head to DQ for a hamburger and blizzard (we had a 2 for 1 coupon :) Then we came home to have some cake! It was a new recipe i tried and i was really excited for it!! It was a white chocolate cheesecake with a butter cookies crush, chocolate cream on top with raspberries and white chocolate curls on top!!! It was good but REALLY sweet after a little sliver i couldn't eat much (especially after my blizzard :) but i was glad that i was able to finally try the recipe! This year was a special birthday for me since it was 12/12/12! Everyone was excited when they found out, if only i had been turning 12 but it was a special day anyway!!

Brooklyn Nine Months!

Brooklyn is now nine months!! We have had so much fun with her she is the happiest and easy going baby we have had thus far!! She gets so excited to see her daddy and she cant help but smile and laugh when he walks in the house for lunch. She hasn't shown much interested in crawling and we wonder if she will skip that step completely because she really never even tries to move?? She still just has her two bottom teeth and you get many chances to see them with her big grin! She sleeps through the night which is wonderful and wakes up about 6:45 but if i feed her then and put her back in bed she will go back to sleep until about 8 which is heavenly even though the boys are up and running around! We headed to the dr and here are her nine month stats!

Santa Run!

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving we headed to Ogden for Brandon's Santa Run! It was a race where everyone was given a Santa suit (hat, coat, pants, belt, and beard) and they ran a 5k! It was a little ridiculous to see everyone in there outfits. There were 1500 or so runners and they ranged from children to old men! Brandon was really excited and the weather was actually quite nice! His time was 24:48.1 (7:58min/ml) and he took 71st place overall and was 9th in his age group!! Yay Brandon, i mean Santa??
