Haydens 2nd Birthday!

He Turned Two!!
We had a little party for Hayden after the baby shower since we would already have Brandons family down! I was not feeling so well that day so i didnt take much time working on Haydens cake but he loved it anyways!

We opened a few presents, had some cake, ice cream, and pizza and then let them beat the heck out of a pinata! They loved it and the night went great!! Happy Birthday Hayden!

The next morning, Brandons family came down to see the new addition. It was going to be the first time the boys would see her so i was really excited! When Hayden was born the swine flu was running wild so they wouldnt let Coleton into the hospital so this time i was really excited to have them come visit!

They were super excited to see her. Coleton was super eager to hold her and was really gentle with her! He would get really close and speak really soft to her then would walk away so that he had room to jump because he was so excited! Hayden on the other hand was interested but quickly distracted by the toys they brought.

Brandons parents and grandparents were able to hold her!

It was really fun to have the family come visit!

Baby Shower!

I was so blessed to have my visiting teacher (Melisa White)and an elderly lady (Sister Jarret)in our ward throw me a baby shower!! I was quite nervous that we would not have many people to come but was amazed when i got there. I was blessed to have over 20 people come to the shower and then we had about 10 others who were unable to make it bring over a gift. We were amazed and felt so loved!!

We played some cute games that were not to crazy and then enjoyed opening gifts while snacking on refreshments!! It was so fun to open all of the pink little bags and i loved organizing every once i got home.

I look forward to dressing her up in everything that i got when ever she gets here!!

Holiday Break!

Since Brandon had a few days off for the holidays we did alot house projects. We built shelves in the nursery, build closet organizers in the master bedroom, painted the fort under the stairs and a lot of little odd and end projects.Along with projects we also rode bikes alot and went to the community center and swam since we had a free pass from an old YW activity :) The boys loved it and we had a lot of fun
It was pretty layed back but we enjoyed the time as a family!

Christmas Photo Shoot!

Since it was Christmas morning, and sunday we all had to get dressed so we figured it would be a good time for some family pictures even though we had no one to take them. Well so say the least.. they didnt turn out so good but here are our attempts ;)

There were alot more but those were the only ones that were not completely embarrassing ;) We also took a pregnancy picture since i have not taken hardly any this whole pregnancy!Here i am 29 weeks and 1 day :)

Christmas Morning!

As much as i look forward to christmas morning, Brandon is still not ok with waking up at 5am like my family use to! This year since we would be attending church at 11am i figured this would not be the year to push to be up early so we got up when the boys did at 7:15am. We have santa leave the boys a little letter explaining why he thought that they deserved presents so before they went to see what they got Brandon read him Santas letter...

Once they understood why he brought them toys out they ran to see what they were...
They were so excited to see that Santa had brought them both a Toy Story 3 tent. Coleton got a Tidmouth Sheds. Hayden got a bubble Tidmouth Sheds (a bigger version for younger children). Brandon got a Garmin Watch and I got a medela nursing pump! Santa also left coloring books, new sippy cups, mini toy story figuines Coleton and more big trains for Hayden and everyone got snacks.Everyone had one other present that he left under the tree.. I got new maternity garments (thank goodness!)Brandon got some new running clothes..And the boys got a tinkerbell movie (Coleton has been asking for it for months and Brandon was a little nervous to get him a fairy movie but we figured with a girl on the way we would be fine ;) and Sir topham Hat. Though we didnt have tons of new toys for them they were so excited to have what they got. After we opened presents we had cinnamon rolls, biscuits, and fruit for breakfast and then we got ready for church! The morning was wonderful and we feel so blessed to have each other. Christmas Eve!

We spent Christmas Eve with just our little family. We had a calm day and then got ready for Santa to visit us! Like every year, we had our giant sandwich for dinner which turned out really well!The boys are not huge into sandwiches (we had chicken salad, chicken bacon ranch, meatball, and spring chicken salad) so they enjoyed olives, pickles, yogurt, and Bacon (coletons favorite!)They thought it was a pretty special meal, which is funny to me! After dinner, we cleaned up since santa only leaves presents at clean houses and then we opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa Cheney!The boys both got to open there presents and were so excited to find...New Blankets! Hayden is really big into carrying all of his blankets around so they are pretty worn so we were excited for new ones!Then they opened there second to find....New Thomas Pajamas!!!They were so excited that we quickly got on pajamas for bedtime!

After we got pajamas on for bed we put some cookies in the oven for Santa... We made his favorite.... white chocolate Macadamia Nut! We got them on a plate for him....gave Heber Hugs good bye since santa would be taking him home!Then went and read "Twas the Night Before Christmas" The boys were pretty exausted since we didnt give them naps so they were out pretty quick which made it nice for santa ;) The day was grate and we were all excited to see what santa would be bringing for us!!
