There were about 3 thousand runners so it was really hard to find Brandon since he was not in his normal running gear (he had gotten his running jacket the night before so i could bearly remember what he was wearing which doesnt help when you have two cold, crying children when you are trying to take pictures of him running past!)
But i noticed him right it time! He made it to the end, honestly it looked like it was a miserable run but he was so proud of himself for finishing under his estimated time. He was really wanting to make it under 2 hours and make it in 1 hour 58 minutes!!!! He got a pretty fancy metal for running the race and they had a lot of cool snacks for them afterwards!
We are just so proud of Brandon for sticking with running. There have been quite a few injuries that he has had to deal with blisters, foot strains, knee problem, back problems, and quite a bit more but he has kept running through all of them to keep himself healthy for the boys and me. He has lost quite a bit of weight (though i have been gaining it with the pregnancy) and he is looking and feeling great! Keep up the good work, Honey!!
M&M's!! We had two little M&ms and we were the packages!! Almost everyone asked if i made the costumes and though i would love to take credit for them, i did not. Brandons mom made these costumes when Brandon was the little green M&M so she was sweet enough to let us borrow them! Everyone seem to think they were pretty cute so i think we were a hit! This year we went to the community center halloween party which was held on saturday night which the boys loved and then on Monday night we went to our wards trunk-or-treat.
Coleton and Hayden had a great time and we got a good little stash of candy.
After hitting all of the cars, we passed a few pieces out and then headed home to pass out candy for those trick or treaters coming through the neighborhood.
The boys seem to enjoy passing out the candy more then trick-or-treating themselves. Coleton loved running to the door throwing the door open and yelling "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" as he then searched through the bowl of candy deciding which candy would be best for each indivdual child. Some of the kids were waiting a couple of minutes to recieve a snickers but everytime i would tell him to hurry because the kids were waiting he would say in a destressed voice "Im trying to hurry mom!" He just wanted to make sure that everyone got just what they wanted ;)
Hayden just tried his hardest to get a piece of candy into someones bag which only happened probably twice all night. As each child left our house, Coleton yelled once again, "Bye, Happy Halloween!" By the end of the night, we were all exausted and ready for bed but the boys had a lot of fun and this year halloween was a success!
We are excited to announce that we are expecting a little girl!! I know if you look at the fine print this isnt really from our ultrasound (my pictures are not downloading) but you get the point! I have thought all along that it was a girl but it still is hard for me to process the thought of having dolls, bows, barbies, and pink in the house. Coleton is super excited to have a little girl and talk about her coming all of the time so we cant wait! We have alot of things to get organized but we have plenty of time to get there!
I have absolutely loved having two little boys, its alittle crazy but they are so close i would not want it any different!

All the way around, i just love having a family of boys but with my 20 week ultra sound coming up in a few day i have to realize that this might change. I would love to have another boy to add to the fun but but with this pregnancy being so very very different i have a feeling we might be adding some pink to the mixture???

For those who are unsure of what that is at the parks here they have the rubber tire chips instead of wood chips.
Since there is always a puddle under the swings which both boys love, the water becomes black from the tire chips and stains everything and of course Hayden always gets messy.
We seem to loose alot of outfits when we got to the park but he still looks cute even covered in rubber water;)

so i had to get the boys out of bed and load them to the Hurricane Community Center at about 7am.
Brandon and his buddy Nate (in the red) were running the race together, so the boys and I made a post to hold up for them so after waiting for a few minutes both boys came into sight...
There time was about 1hr 12minutes which was pretty close to what they were aiming for which was 1hour 9minutes 38seconds.
Everyone got a peach days shirt for running it and then the top twenty people got prizes and Brandon places 15th and won a $10 gift card to classic sports (which he bought a pair of running socks with!) After the race, Brandon ran home to shower quickly while i stayed and got a spot of the peach days parade!! We at by they family i use to watch, the alkamas, and the boys had alot of run together collecting candy.
When the parade was finished we walked around to look at all of the booths and activities that they were offering. They had a candy cannon,
a booth that home depot was putting on where you could build your own little boat,
rides, food, and lots of fun things to look at like an electric train set that was set up which coleton loved!
