Our Honeymoon! Day 3

It was going to be a busy day so we started it off with a great buffet breakfast! It had everything we needed and it was right next to the olympic park so it was perfect. This was the day that Brandon had been looking forward to for months and if you ask him years! We would be doing alot of olypian activites! We started off by going through the olympian museum.
After going through we went outside and watched some talented guys run some of the course! They were pretty amazing!

We could have tried to jump it for free but we didnt know that in advance so we didnt bring any swimming suits! After watching for awhile, we headed to do some of the activites! We started off with the Ultra zipline, then the alpine slide (which was so fun shockingly enough!)Then we headed to the Extreme zipline!
They were also fun and they were definately worth trying but next we went to have brandon do some bobsledding!!! Before he actually got in they had him help push a couple of bobsleds to get started.
He only had three in his four man bobsledd (Bob, Brandon, and the driver) but he said that it was the most intense thing he has ever done! He said you feel like you have something pushing you down and was so glad that he did it! It definately was a once in a life time experience! After we had done everything we could at the olymic park we headed to Outback Steak House!!I love the bloomin' onions and we had amazing food!! We got there about 3:30 so they were not open quite yet so we went to a store near by and found a little romote control boat that we bought to play with in the swimming pool! After dinner, we headed to the olympic oval in Salt Lake city for our Curling lessons!!! It was the first week of the season so we actually were the only ones there (there was suppose to be 75 other students) but it was great to be alone when learning how! We had a great instructor named Dale!! He was an olympic judge in the 2002 olympics and is amazing at it!We learned how to sweep in front of the stone, all the stats on the stones, how to score, how they judge...
How to use they special shoe you wear to slide how to balance, we were shocked how difficult it was but how much fun it was too!We learned alot an got pretty good here is some video of Brandon and I playing!!

After we had our private lesson with an olympic judge for two hours that we only paid $10 for we stopped at 7 eleven and got a slurpie and headed back to park city to get some rest we were so sore from playing but it was so much fun it was definetly worth the pain!

Our Honeymoon! Day 2

With the day beginning, we decided to head up to ogden to do some indoor skydiving!! They places is called ifly and you are in a tube that makes you feel like you were skydiving! We both went in Brandon 3 minutes and me 2 minutes! We also got some cool t-shirts for doing it. It was crazy but so fun! After doing some flying we headed down stairs to the Arcade!! We did some glow-in-the-dark mini golf. It was a pirat theme and it had some really cool decor.
After mini golf, we did the normal arcade cames DDR, deal or no deal (which we were awsome at Brandon picked the 100 ticket case and i picked the 200 case), and some hoops. We had so much fun and with our tickets we got Coleton a Mickey Mouse toy.
We had alot of fun at the arcade but had to get some food to eat so we went in towards Salt Lake and went to Rodizio Grill which Brandon had been looking forward to for months! After the food and walking around we had to head back to park city and after getting home really late we realized we were hungry so we did what anyone would do at 11:30 at night we ordered a pizza from dominos! We thought we were being so wild, we have never ordered a pizza to be delivered and never ordered food that late but we loved it! It was an awsome day and so much more fun to come!!

Our Honeymoon! Day 1

Tueday night was the start of our honeymoon!! We were so excited to head out and get to park city! Brandon got off of work at four and he came to meet the boys and i at his parents in Cedar! Brandons mom and dad were so sweet to watch the boys all week so i stayed at their house after the cheney family reunion to get the boys use to the new place. They did really good transitioning and we felt confident that they would be safe and have alot of fun with grandma and grandpa comstock! We left there house about five thirty and started our drive. We were shocked to see how different a drive it is when i am not sick because i am not pregnant and just the fact that i don't have to entertain or stress about boys in the back seat. We loved talking and taking our time getting there! We stopped in Provo and ate at the golden corral. It was great being alone and after eating we drove the rest of the way to our lodge! We stayed at the Deer Valley Lodge in park city. It was beautiful. When we first arrived (about 11:30pm) we went and check in to find they had lost our reservation (though they had e-mailed us our reservation that i luckily printed before we left!) They gave us a room and being so tired we went to bed!

The next morning we woke up to no children and started our five day vacation. Joleen said the boys were doing great Hayden had had a rough night but was doing better so we were happy to hear things were going well. We started off with some window shopping! We love it! After some shopping and buying Coleton an adorable cookie monster stuffed animal we stopped and ate lunch at a grill that was outside. While eating we saw a scenic chairlift that we decide would be fun to take. After that we went home to take a nap which was one of the things i was most excited about!! After our nap we went to the local store and bought fresh fruit to snack on and then headed to dinner. Since it was vacation we decided that Coldstone ice cream and McDonald's fries was what we thought would be good and it was! After our dinner we headed to the movie theatre to see toy story 3in 3D which was the 2nd movie Brandon and i had seen in a theatre together. It was such a good movie we were not so impresses with the 3d part but the movie itself was great! The day was amazing, and we were glad to have 4 days left!

Cheney Family Reunion!!

Once again we had an amazing reunion with the Cheney Family! My parents did a great job preparing for all of the activities and making sure that we all had a fun time and we sure did! Here is what we did....
We did everything from swimming (with a new waterslide that was pretty amazing), snowcones, lifesize tetras, minute to win it games, hawaiian luau, deep fried night, ice cream cones, family pictures, crafts, washers, pinewood derby race, emergency prepareness (72hr kits), and had all the kids play together!! We had an amazing time and we are glad that we were able to spend the week with such an amazing family! We are so grateful to all be sealed together and to know that we are an eternal family!!

Crazy Boys!

Here are some pictures of the two boys! The only time we can get both boys in the picture seems to be when they are laying down! Hayden gets a little nervous when he is left sitting/laying next to Coleton, he never knows what could happen! They sure are cute though!
Cant wait to see what great friends they will be!!

Coleton Update!

Here is our crazy two year old! He sure fits the mold of a busy and active toddler! He finally got his last tooth last month!! For some reason his came in so late but we finally have them all and boy does he look cute with all of them! With fresh veggie coming to our house constantly because many of our neighbors have amazing gardens, Coleton is loving trying all the different kinds, corn on the cob is definately his favorite!
Coleton is a big book lover! Every night Brandon gived him the chance to pick out just one book to read before bed and here is how he looks when he is debating...
As still thinking...And we have to tell him to hurry so he says "which one!"And then after many warnings to hurry he finally chooses one! What an ordeal!Though, sometimes he is crazy and seems to be into everything hes not suppose to at the end of the day, i am so glad he is ours!!
(On the video, he opened the seal on the nesquick before eating handfuls!)

Hayden Update!

Hayden is now 5 months! He is getting to be much more active and loving to stand and jump! He really loves the jumper but often gets his head stuck between the straps while trying to suck on them so i have to come and rescue him!His once dark hair is growing to be much lighter but it is filling in!He is so wiggly that i can hardly get any pictures that are not blurry because he wont hold still! He is trying so hard to sit on his own and loves when he can play close to Coleton. Coleton is not such a big fan but its growing on him.Hayden loves to be held and hates being left alone! I can hardly leave him to get something for Coleton but we are working on that luckly he loves daddy so we are grateful when he is off work and hold him while watching the news!
We just love Hayden and are having so much fun watching him grow! It will be interesting to see how he does as we travel this next month because the stranger anxiety is definetly kicking in so hope everything turns out great!

Happy 4th of July!!

I love going to the towns fourth of july parade and activities! Since the 4th landed on Sunday we celebrated it on the 5th! This was the first year that we have been in Hurricane for the activites and we forgot what a small town it is! The parade lasted about ten minutes! It was short but cute! After the parade we went home for some breakfast, then came back to see some booths. We did not realize they dont have them in Hurricane. They had a few childrens cames that Coleton was not quite old enough for but they did have a potato gun that they shot candy out of and it rained down on the children waiting to pick it up. After coleton got a few peices of candy, we headed home a little disappointed! After the boys took naps we went looking for some fun activites. Accross the street from our house was the home run derby, t-ball play offs, free root beer and watermelon so we wentover and watched a few games. Then that night we watched the firework on our front yard because the shot them off at the baseball fields too. They were great! All in all it was a fun day that we were able to spend as a family!!
