Happy Mothers Day!!

Happy Mothers Day!! This year we had a lot of fun! The weekend started off with the normal playing outside in the backyard since the weather was warm and beautiful.Then after being outside Brandon and the boys gave me a great mothers day present..A BUMBO SEAT!!! I have wanted one since Coleton was born but could not justify getting it so the got if for me! Well i think so? Someimes i wonder if the boys just got it for themselves.Either way i love it and it has been so handy having it so far! After naps, we headed down to see Brandon parents, spend the night, and went to church with them. I was really hoping to get a picture with both of the boys for mothers day but ..Neither of them wanted to take a picture with me!It was ok because as i looked back at the pictures i realized this is what motherhood really looks like but i am just so glad to have my two little boys! Happy Mothers Day Everyone!!

Sleeping Babies

I am excited to announce that both of our babies are sleeping through the night. Coleton was sick for a few days so he was up quite a bit but i am so excited that Hayden has now slept through the night for over a week and a half. The babywise book got him on the right schedule and Hayden had no problem sticking with it. With Coleton there were many nights of crying and going in to console him but Hayden didnt even have one night of it, man did i get lucky!

Time with grandparents!

Growing up out east, i didnt have many chances to spend time with my grandparents since they lived in west so its really important to me that my kids have the opportunities to get to know their grandparents. Since we just had both grandmas at our home to help with the birth of Hayden, Coleton got to spend alot of one on one time with both grandmas. Well Grandpas are just as important, so we took some time to see both grandpas. During Easter break we went to see Grandpa Cheney. Coleton has alot of fun with Grandpa Cheney, he loves ruff housing with him and suckering him in to giving him sweet treats. They also have alot in common like they both love trains, john deere tractor, and clocks.
Then Coleton had a chance to spend some time with Grandpa Comstock while Brandon and I went to a sealing. They did some projects at the house so Coleton was able to help. All in all, Coleton has really had a lot of fun spending time with his grandparents, they all have there different ways of spending time with them and he loves them all!!

What a sweetheart!

The other day Brandon came home from work to find that i had had a rough day. Both boys had not been feeling well and i had been up with them both all night. Naps for either did not happen and they were both extremely moody. I was in the process of making dinner and noticed i was missing one of the main ingredience and knew that there was no way i could take the boys to the store without making a huge scene over something, so Brandon offered to go and pick it up for me. When he came home from the store, i started finish up dinner when he explained that he had bought something at the store, had hid it in the garage, and was now was feeling guilty for hidding it. Figuring he had bought either a butterfinger, a donut, or pop for himself, he went and brought these in....Is he not the sweetest husband. It sure make the rest of the day seem so much better, Thanks Honey!!

O Coleton!!

With Coleton getting older, he is starting to have a funny sense of humor (like his dad). He like to dance when ever he hears music, make people at the store giggle as he walks past, and... make faces. Even as i sit here with him he is make the face at the picture because he thinks the picture and him are making faces at each other.

He is growing up to be such a goofy kid and we love it! I see more of Brandon in him each day and i am glad that is who he is growing up to be like!!

Here is just a cute video, he got a tad nervous on camera but he has learned how to wipe of the table and does a pretty good job getting it clean!

Cuddle time with daddy!

Ever since Coleton was born, Brandon has hoped for a baby that would cuddle up with him on the couch and take a nap. He tried for months with Coleton but Coleton just wasnt a cuddly baby. So Brandon was really hoping that Hayden would be and tada.... He is!! Brandon will come home from work, grab Hayden, and the both of them will nap together! Its really cute to watch them together and it sure helps me get things done, now all i need is for him to take both boys and nap with both, just think of the free time i would have!!

Well, we had Haydens two month and Coletons two year checkup at here is what we have...
Haydens
Weight- 13.19 lbs (72%)
Height- 23. 75 in (67%)
HC - 15.7 in (38%)

Coletons
I actually cant remember them! He kicked and screamed pretty much the whole way. They both got shots and had a little rougher day but for the most part it went well. I had to go alone since Brandon was at work but it turned out to be not as bad as i expected!

Happy Birthday, Coleton!

Today, Coleton turned two years old! I cant believe how fast he has grown and that he is his a little man! Since we had family here yesterday for Haydens baby blessing we had a party for him after! We had a dinner with everyone that was so good and Coleton was so ready to eat his cake that he was doing all he could to reach it before dinner was done!I made him a train cake with train cars that had m&ms, sprinkles, and oreos.I had a hard time making it with him because he kept yelling "train, train, train, train" and it was hard to consentrate on what i was doing.This year he was able to blow his own candles out which was fun to see!

After dinner we opened some presents and Grandma and Gramdpa gave him trains which he went crazy over!He was so excited about the trains he didnt even care about other present he had not opened yet.He also got train tracks, shoes, clothes, stickers, and a puzzle. At the end of the day, with all of the excitment he didnt get a nap and so after family had left he was in his room reading a picture book of our family, he just fell asleep! I just had to laugh because he looked so cute!
The day was wonderful, he understood this birthday and it was so fun to see him so excited! I can't believe he is now two years old!

Haydens Baby Blessing!

Haydens baby bessing went great! We were able to bless him in our home ward (Hurricane 8th).My parents, sadly were not able to make it because of church meeting they had to be at but
we were able to have Brandons parents Tom and Joleen with us... Brandons Grandparents Dee and Lorna Wiser...

and of course Haydens big brother, Coleton, was there and they looked so darn cute together!!

Tom, Dee, Bishop Christiansen, and his councilors Brother Humphres, and Brother Lister were in the circle with Brandon and he gave a beautiful blessing. Hayden was able to sleep during the blessing so that was a relief not to have him crying!

His baby blessing so wonderful and we are just so blessed to have Hayden in our lives!

Babywise!

Hayden has been a great night sleeper from the time he came home, naps on the other hand have not been so great. He will fall asleep, i will lay him down and ten minutes later he is up and it goes on for hours So it is time for the babywise program. With Coleton, I put him on babywise at about four weeks old and i loved how happy he was and how great a night sleeper he became. Hayden is now about two months old and we started yesterday and i forgot how great babywise is! After the first day he was napping for an hour to an hour and a half and was so happy! I know that i have more rough days getting him trained but i know it will be worth it in the end!!
