Brandons New Tools and Projects

We have been working really hard to get rid of things that we don't need and the deal was that anything either of us had BEFORE we were married if sold the individual got to keep the money to use on what ever they wanted!! Good deal if you have things which Brandon did, i did not! :( ironically im the one that made that deal!

Brandon sold old tools, bow and arrows, fishing gear, book shelves, books, baseball cards, and a whole bunch of things!
With all the money he made (which was actually quite a bit) he bought more tools!!

It has been a dream to get his "shop" (aka our garage) set up so he could use it when ever he needed to work on a project!
He did and has been busy on projects! He made benches for the boys outside table!
Made a closet shelves for me in the boys room!

And many more but i dont have all the pictures yet but he has been busy working! Brooklyn loves to be out in the garage when he works she isn't even bothered by the loud saws or drills! Brandon loves having her out there with him its good father/daughter bonding!!

Kids

Since we have not had many post here is some of the kids just being them!
(Hayden)

Brooklyn loves hats!

The next two pictures are GROSSS!!!! if you have a weak stomach look away!!!

Brandon took his scouts caving the past two weeks! The first set of caves he went to are very dangerous and so all boys and leaders have to wear helmets and head lamps for safety. The other (coral canyon) is quite safe requiring no helmets! Well on the Second caving adventure they were heading back out and there was a small area that you had to climb up to get out so when Brandon got to that point he squatted down and helped lift boys up! Well once he had helped everyone up he decided to jump up and climb on his own but did not realize that there was a large rock pointing out and he rammed his head right into it!! He had the boys look at it and they said he would be fine, he wasn't bleeding much but he took off his shirt and put pressure on his head while he drove home!!!! When he got home and i looked at it, it looked pretty gross!

He said he was fine and got in the shower to wash off the blood this is what it looked like when he got out of the shower!

I demanded that he get a second opinion since i thought we needed to go to instacare so we headed to two of our neighbors to hear what they thought both thought that we definitely needed to go in! One of the women helped get the swelling to go down since it continued to get worse! It went all the way down to his scull and when she tried to "mush" it together there was a section of his scalp missing! Gross! She said that they rock must have kept a piece! We headed to the instaCare and had four stitches put in (would have been more if they had that missing chunk!) he was bothered that he had to go in to have it looked at but i wasn't willing to risk and infection so close to his brain!! Yay for scouting!

So those are the random pictures that we have!

Coletons birthday!

Coleton had his fifth birthday party at the splash pad! We had a pretty big group of kids join us and he had a great time :)

Wooden fish Races

As Brandon gets his shop organized and begins working on projects for me the boys become more and more interested in what he is up too! Most of the projects are complex enough that the boys are unable to help so this past weekend Brandon did a special project with them! Making wooden fish!

They were able to decorate there fish how ever they wanted and so we got markers, crayons, and stickers for them to get crazy with!
We then went to a little stream a few miles from our house to race them!

The boys loved them and Brandon had to make quite a few rescue missions but they boys were so proud of their little fish!!  It was a fun little activity for us!
