Cheney Family Campout!!
The last few days of out mini vacation, we decided to spend camping in Idaho with the Cheney family! My sisters Cristeen and Caralee along with my brothers Brent and Bradley brought there families and we camped out together!! It was warm but really fun. Since Coleton loves camping he was in heaven since he got the best of both worlds cousins to play with and camping!!
We had a camp sight that my dad had build a little house on so that we would have a kitchen and bathrooms with flushing toilets and showers so it was camping in luxury (even though Coleton prefered to "pee on the trees")!

Hoggle Zoo!!
Day 2 of our mini vacation, we decided to take the boys to the zoo since neither of them had been. We headed to Hogle Zoo with my sister-in-law Marie and her three little girls!
We were able to see lots of monkeys,
Which Coleton was really excited about since he had never seen a real monkey..
Hayden was super excited to see everything, he was amazed everytime he saw anything move!
It was pretty warm the day we went so after about thirty minutes Coleton was not in the best of moods.. i had just seen him put his arms up to the sign but when i tried to do it with him he kind of lost it :)
When we went they had a special dinosaur exibit going on that had dinosaurs placed throughout the zoo that moved and growled, some were life size and some were made smaller but i thought they were pretty neat, Coleton hated it!
We saw the elephants (there was a cute little baby elephant) which scared Coleton
We saw giraffes
which were my favorite...we also saw lions, gorillas, and lots of repitles and bugs.
I had been telling Coleton for days that we would be going to the zoo and i would ask him which animals we would see at the zoo and he would answer "zebras, penguins, polar bears, camels...." and we were disappointed to find that when we got there they didnt have any of those animals so he wasnt the happiest of campers but what do you expect, We were grateful that we had family there to help us...

Childrens Discovery Museum!!
We had a free weekend, which is weird since we seem to not have many of them this summer, so we decided to head to Salt Lake for a mini Comstock family reunion (with just our little family). We stayed at my parents house and did some fun activities with the boys. The first day there we decided to head to the Childrens Discovery Center. We had never been but we heard the boys would love it and they did! It was all hands on play for them and here is some of the things they did....
They had a large water station that had waterfalls and water wheels that both boys loved, what was better is they even had aprons they could wear so they wouldnt get wet which was wonderful!
They had an area that resembled a farm
that you could plant and pick veggies, fruits, play on tractors, and they even had a horse you could sit on.
The next area was Coletons favorite, it was a mini store that he could do his own shopping and he loved every moment of it. We went around picking out the items he needed

Took them to the register and rang him self up,
Even Hayden thought it was pretty amazing to so they worked together to get everything rung up!

They also had a construction sight, ball center,
and a small childrens area that they were able to play in. After we went throught the first level of activities they had another level that was for older children that of course Brandon had to go check out;)
First he decided to check out being a news caster...
Then he tried being a meterologist..
Then he tried working with the pipes to get a ping pong ball to the end...
Our last stop was outside were they had a real life flight helicopter for you to sit/play in so we went out and saw it. It was really loud and Coleton was terrified of it but Hayden thought it was pretty neat so he was willing to climb in with Brandon. After our trip the boys were exausted so we headed back to my parents house to get a long vacation nap. The day was really fun and the boys had a blast!
