We are here!! I never thought we would make it!! This past week has been crazy. Brandon has been driving to hurricane and back everyday (45min drive one way) along with working on the house when he is done working at the seminary. Coleton and i (along with all of his family) have been cleaning the enoch house along with cleaning the hurricane house to get things ready.
The living room is set up so Coleton and i can live here during the day since our basement is not yet finished. Rusty our painter is still working on the house along with working on the basement to tape and texture the walls so that we can lay the carpet down there.
The day we moved in we actually didnt have hot water, nor did we have a stove, cabinets, sink, or dishwasher. And the next day we learned that the two bathrooms upstairs did not have a working shower. This is a picture of our first meal in hurricane. It was a hot pocket that i cooked in the microwave which is the only thing i have to cook with!
To add to the fixing list i went to use the washer and dryer that we got with the house, i came to learn that the washer floods over and that the dryer had to be rewired so we could plug in so we wont be using it for a week or so till my dad can come and try fixing it!!
Though it seems kind of rediculous that everything is not working we are really happy to finally be in our first home. We know that we have alot to work on and fix but we think we are up to the challenge and are so grateful for the chance we have be have this home!!

With the carpet being layed as we moved our stuff in, it is all in one room so i have a lot to organize. Right now we are staying at Brandons parents until i have more organized but we will be heading here to stay in a few days so i am going to have to really get to work!!
