Time with daddy

With Brandons busy school schedule Coleton had not had a chance to see his dad very much but last week Brandon had a slower schedule so he was able to spend some fun time with the little man. Coleton loved the time he got to spend with his dad and now looks forward to the time that dad can play. When Brandon is doing homework Coleton will continue to stare at him and wiggle to get his attention and then when Brandon finally looks his way Coleton gives him a big smile and will normally give a laugh. They really love to read books together, watch TV, or play there own hand game. Brandon has a special way of holding him on his lap that for some reason coleton just loves he could be crying and Brandon will sit him on his lap and he goes quiet, and their had game is just funny. Coleton just realized he has hands and Brandon will put his had above him and coleton trys his hardest to hit Brandons palm and they will play for hours (ok not really its more like minutes until coleton forgets he has a hand again!) Brandon is sure excited to be out of school so that he can spend his night playing. Coleton just learned how to roll and Brandon taught him how to do that all on his own! I cant wait to watch them play basketball and throw a football around, it maybe a while but Coletons a fast learner so it may just be next week!

Comstocks are on the move!

So things are coming along at the Comstock home. I have started to go through our apt and pack things i know we will not use in the next four weeks. Thus far i have packed about seven boxes which i feel pretty good about, but still have lots to go. Brandon is getting really excited that graduation is just around the corner. He is becoming more and more tired of classes so we are glad to be getting close to driving away. Graduation is July 18 so we hope to drive right after that to Cedar City. Brandon has been buying props for seminary and has gotten a crown of thorns(which coleton and me got him for his first fathers day), ox yoke, and a fishers net so far. For my first mothers day Coleton and Brandon surprised me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers!

Yesterday, Coleton got his two month shots which was really sad. i had to make Brandon come so i didnt break down in the office but Brandon said he did ok. When the nurses poked him in the legs Brandon said he turned as red as an apple and started to cry but as soon as he picked him up he stopped. He has not been as happy the past two days but i think along with the shots he is starting to teeth so its alot for the little guy.

With the help of Brian a few days ago we diagnoised that my swollen cheek means that i have an infection in one of my teeth so tomorrow i head into the orthodontist office to hopefully get it fixed and put a cap on another tooth that was fixed during the pregnancy before anything happens to either teeth. The work definately wont be cheap but hopefully it will be manageable!

One year Anniversary

We just cant believe it, it has been a year since we were married in the Salt Lake City Temple for time and all eternity! So much as changed since last summer. We are so close to graduating from BYU Idaho, we have a little boy who is quite adorable, and planning on moving to cedar city in a few months. When we got married we planned on being at school for a few more years, we were going to wait a bit to have a baby, never thought that we would have the chance to be back in Brandons home town.
Well for our anniversary, Brandon surprised me with tickets to a BYU Idaho college dance which funny enough was one of the things i never got to do when i was single at college so i was so excited when i got to dress up in a formal, do my hair and leave the baby to go out on our special date. I had my best friend, puff, come with some of her roommates and the watched coleton while they watched a movie. We were so excited to get out and be alone. We are pretty sure that we were the only married couple there but it was fun non the less. The dance was on the friday night before our anniversary so on our real anniversary we went out to eat at a local restraurant called the Backyard were they make really good burgers and ice cream! Though we didnt get to have a little second honeymoon (and for us it would really be our first) we had fun just going out on the town which we dont get to do very often.
